Dr. Nyhus Schaffer is a North Dakota native with a first-hand understanding of small-town values. He and his wife Laura moved to La Crosse because of its opportunities for both personal growth and a perfect environment to raise a family. In August of 2006 their first child, Hennasy, was born, followed by Brigsen in May of 2008, and son Brooks in 2010.
Throughout his life, Dr. Schaffer's enthusiasm and charisma made him a natural leader, including football captain at the collegiate level. He channeled this energy into the study of chiropractic, achieving a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota. He is currently continuing his studies through the Carrick Institute of Chiropractic Neurology and has acquired 375 hours of post-doctoral credits.
Apart from his studies, Dr. Schaffer enjoys being active in Wisconsin Chiropractic Associations, Local Chiropractic Associations, and Business Networking International. In his free time, Dr. Schaffer enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors. Dr. Schaffer is grateful to have the opportunity to live and work in the La Crosse area.
