Patient Testimonials

May 12, 2009 Until this last year I cannot tell you the last time I was without pain. Since I was a young child I have had pain. No matter what I did there was pain. I had come to believe that this was how my body was supposed to feel. One of the most wonderful days of my life was September 16th 2008. Why do I remember the date? It was the first morning in memory that I woke up pain free. Multiple back injuries including three auto accidents had left me physically old. The last two fingers on my left hand had been curled and numb for more than a decade. Shoulder tension, headaches from neck pain and lower back pain (that frequently prevented me from standing upright were a fact of life). I had been to neurologists, chiropractors, and general physicians. Eventually I found myself at The Center Of Chiropractic; when I walked through the door I was standing at a sixty degree angle and could not even sit comfortably. Within three months of regular adjustments my fingers began to straighten and my posture was erect. Now more than a year later I am enjoying life again. I am healthier than I have been in years, my mornings are pain free, and I have the full use of my hand that I was once told would require major surgery to correct. I no longer plan my life around my pain and know that pain is not a way of life.

May 12th, 2009 I was involved in an exercise class for older folks. It was an easy class, where we sat on chairs and stretched to a music tape. I was trying to lift my legs up in the air and felt a sharp pain in my left knee. It left my barely able to walk after that. On April 4th my wife and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Audrey from Dr. Wulf’s, office was there to help us celebrate, and seeing my dilemma advised me to come in and see Dr. Wulf. I hadn’t realized he could help with knee problems. I was given ultrasound treatments and massage about six times, now my knee is doing really well again. Thanks to Elaine and Dr. Wulf.

 Sincerely,

Robert Hembd.

August 26, 2009

I came to Dr. Wulf after a local hospital physical therapy department said that there was no change in my condition, no improvement.  They recommended “stop” all physical therapy. One day while shopping at the mall, I was evaluated by Elaine, Dr Wulf’s assistant. She gave me some colored tests of muscles and showed me my condition. I had neck, upper and lower back pain, right thumb pain, and restricted movement of my head. I made an appointment with Dr. Wulf.  At first I was afraid of his treatment but I see how his adjustments, correcting and making my muscles move, really help my condition.  I have 75% less pain and 30% more movement of my head.  He is an asset to medical therapy.
